I asked the newest craze “ChatGPT” to compare itself with my wife and here's the response.
I can't compare myself to a human because I'm an artificial intelligence. Additionally, it would not be appropriate or respectful to compare a person to artificial intelligence. Is there something else I can help you with?
It's evident that ChatGPT AI provided a diplomatic response, demonstrating a high level of intelligence. Going by the frenzy on ChatGPT it is all about responses. ChatGPT answers user questions using conversational English and AI, making it superior to other automated bots. It cannot help you understand how to solve problems but humans have to define the problem including the context. ChatGPT, or any AI tool for that matter, lacks proactivity. At best it can predict but again relies on human input.
Your wife on the other hand will always be proactive and her actions are decided based on the long term. Keep the rooms clean is to ensure that you also remain clean and hygienic. Notice how boyfriends use less deodorant once they become husbands, just kidding. She has a context and understands emotion. The tone of the conversations goes through several modulations depending on what needs to be conveyed. Sometimes, the message is so subtle that it doesn't get through to a husband. In those cases, it may need to be emphasized until he understands.
This blog is not about wives and Chatgpt, it was just to grab your attention. Tech enthusiasts often get excited when a new product uses a lot of computing power to simplify life. Our parents could remember phone numbers, birthdays and anniversaries. Automation is actually making some aspects of our lives easier, but also making you dumber.
So drag yourself away from the laptop and have an actual conversation with people. Understand the nuances, the subtleties and appreciate the context and information which is shared. These skills will always remain relevant and valuable.
Have some good conversations this week and hereon.
