Ronald graduated with an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur in 1987 and holds a degree in commerce from Mumbai university. Ronald has worked for 24 years across general management, marketing, sales, consulting and human resources in Procter & Gamble, Kellogg’s, Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia) and Ernst and Young. He has been part of the leadership team across different functions as well as a Business head.
In his last role with Alcatel-Lucent, Ronald had a global role based in India across technology development, operations and business support. He was also part of a team which was granted a patent in the US for optimization of RF technology. During his tenure as Head of Human resources, the employee headcount moved from 3,000 to 11,000 people including 2 JV’s.
Ronald founded Intellinects Ventures, a technology education company focused on delivery of platforms to improve the experience and efficiency of school administration services for students, parents and teachers alike. Developed and implemented innovative solutions for mobile and web (Intellischools.org and Intelliadmissions.org) with over 100 schools, 50,000 students and 50,000 applications every year. The business was acquired in Oct 20 by NoPaperForms Private Limited, an Infoedge company. He is now developing an agent centric real estate CRM for India and working on a travel concept enabled by AI
Before he started his own company, Ronald was an Angel investor for start-ups as well as Interim CEO for a health care company and a cold chain logistics company (Funded by PE company Ambit Pragma)
Ronald is multi-faceted and brings both general management and functional expertise. His greatest strength is the ability to integrate different sources of information and create a larger picture and a clear execution roadmap. He’s an infrequent blogger where he shares insights and observations on life.
Ronald was an avid sportsman in college having won a Mumbai University Gold medal in basketball and represented both Podar college and XLRI across multiple sports. He used to organize a basketball tournament to support a charity for 10 years in Mumbai until 2016. Lives in Mumbai and spends time in Goa as well.
