Travel provides you a different perspective and each experience provides some insights.. Here are some observations
If you are not willing to pay the extra money for the seat choice on airlines, you will get the last row or the middle seat (sometimes both)
Hardly any airline serves food inflight....perhaps only Air India.
Hotels are slowly moving away from plastic bottles for water and providing glass bottles in rooms as a nod to the environment (it is also cheaper I guess) They have also stopped putting tissue boxes in some cases.
Digiyatra is not available at Dharamshala...and your check in baggage is screened before you go the counter.
Renting a car by the hour on Uber and Ola is better than renting a chauffeur driven car for the whole day.
Televisions with set top boxes are not relevant but try screen casting and you need to download an app and do some cart wheels
If the jet spray in your toilet is on the wrong side (i.e. left side), you realize how flexible you are.
10 am departure from Hotel in Chandigarh, delayed arrival in Mumbai at 4.30 pm. Small delay leads to a problem in Mumbai for landing. Need a larger airport soon for Mumbai.
Pre-liberalization we waited in queues , post liberalisation queues are no longer in fashion.
Ola maps are denting Ola cabs revenue as they are not the best in identifying places. Ola scooters is another story
Most tourist taxis subscribe to both Ola and Uber as well as do their own business. Likelyhood of not finding a cab is high or cancelled. OLA is now an improved version of Black and Yellow cabs in Mumbai
Uber and Ola are no longer responsible for service delivery. They are just aggregators.
200 rupees for 7 cookies in a tin box is good value for both the airline and hungry passenger aka me.
All aircraft passengers panic when an aircraft lands so they can leave the plane early even before an aircraft comes to a complete halt (perhaps worried that they will be left behind)
One in 3 passengers is playing a game on a mobile on the plane, some are watching downloaded stuff, 10% sleep and a few fidget. This is not scientific...
